This last Sunday I preached on the Wedding at Cana (that sermon can be found here)
You may not know that we have this story in our, among many others, embedded into our windows here at Bethany. It's a common practice by many churches to decorate their sanctuaries in this way. But I've often wondered what all goes into deciding what symbols and what stories they choose will end up making it into the final version. Does the architect just pick their favorites? Are they telling an overarching story as with our santuary?
I invite you this week to take a look at this piece of art found in our santuary and share with another person your favorite piece of stained glass (or other art) that you've seen recently that depicts God either explicitly or implictly.
